“In August 2021 Moonfish Theatre were able to record our first ever radio drama, Into the World Within at Soundtrack and Podcast. We had scheduled 2 previous slots for our week-long recording session and had to reschedule twice due to Covid, but Alan and Elena were really flexible and accommodating throughout this.

It was our first foray into the world of radio drama, and the team at Soundtrack and Podcast were also at the beginning of their recording journey. This was one of the first podcasts they had recorded, but the team (Alan and Elena) did a brilliant job. A highlight of working with the team at Soundtrack and Podcast was their creativity - we needed a musical underscoring for Into the World Within, which Alan composed and recorded in accordance with the script as part of the recording package. Alan edited the piece in full and prepared it for broadcast. We were able to use one part of the studio to record foley sound effects, which Elena offered to help us with, not a service you’d get at every recording studio! It’s also a great studio with all the equipment you will need, plus creative advice on hand if you need it.

With our lack of experience and wanting to keep the process as artistic and relaxed as possible, we probably weren’t your average podcast / voiceover client, but Alan and Elena were very accommodating and flexible throughout the process.

Although we were up against a really tight turnaround schedule, Alan and Elena pulled out all the stops to make sure our podcast was recorded within the time allotted and edited to our satisfaction in time for our submission deadline. Thanks to the team, we hope to work with you again! “
